So I bought Article Demon quite a few months back now, for around $127. So far, I have used it a whopping 0 times. Initially when I got it, I also acquired a huge list of article directories for it. So excitedly, I loaded them up, started creating accounts and was all ready to get started blasting off my articles. Unfortunately I didn’t get much farther than that because the whole system was just so complicated. So I closed the program, and I haven’t opened it since, until today.

Diane Sontag is the author of Bookmarking Coach. I first bought Bookmarking Coach probably close to a year ago – maybe more. Anyway what it is, is a PDF guide showing you exactly how to optimize your setttings with Bookmarking Demon. The information is presented in an easy to read way, that personally had me up and running within an hour. If I had not bought this guide originally, I probably wouldn’t even be using BMD at all right now, but it’s actually quite the contrary – I’ve used it for thousands and thousands of bookmarks since, and with great success. So first and foremost, I can’t recommend Bookmarking Coach enough, as it has made my life a LOT easier.

Anyway, as soon as Article Coach came out I started bugging Diane about writing a guide for Article Demon, and sure enough, last week her Article Demon Tutorial was finally released. I’ve been eagerly waiting to get my hands on this, as I’ve had Article Demon sitting on my desktop collecting dust for the past several months. Finally this morning I got to crack into it.

The problem with Article Demon is there are so many nuances to setting up accounts, pen names, spinning articles, submitting articles, etc, that it makes it challenging and even overwhelming to try to figure out where to start. I’m personally the type of person who has a hard time following instructions – maybe its a “man” thing, I don’t know – but for whatever reason I just have a real hard time with it. So I find it nearly impossible to sit through the video tutorials that come with Article Demon in the first place – in my opinion they are extremely boring and start off with information so basic that it’s hard for me to even follow. So the great thing, for me, is that I can follow the Article Coach tutorial (the format is much easier to follow and the screenshots make it really easy to reference), then go back and watch any videos I need to supplement the additional information – allowing me to skip over a lot of the fluff videos. I don’t necessarily suggest everyone do it this way, but it works for me.

So the first important step is creating accounts. Diane offers some great Article Demon tips that will help you optimize the account creation process. In fact, right away, I learned several things I wouldn’t have even thought of about the account creation process – it is a lot different than BMD or SENuke or other sort-of similar software programs, and needs to be done correctly in order for you to reap the best results. So right away I picked up some invaluable information.

There is also some great info on turning failed account creations into live accounts – in fact this portion of the guide is very detailed and shows screenshots of different directories that will help you along in the process of getting thee accounts activated – and with a program like this, every account matters.

Pen names and processing bonus directories – these are both important features in the guide. First pen names – this is something that you absolutely need to understand before you can use this tool. If not, you might end up wasting a lot of time. As far as the bonus directories, you will get a walkthrough on setting up the additonal bonus directories that come included when you buy the software, and also learn how to add your own additional directories. This was extremely helpful to me!

Once you’ve added your directories, set up accounts, created pen names, etc, you will be ready to start blasting off articles. Diane shows you how to optimize your performance settings with the help of detailed screenshots. These settings will help ensure that you are going to be running as efficiently as possible and getting the maximum number of successful submissions. Best part – all you need to do is follow the screenshots, and it only takes a minute or two to completely optimize all your settings.

As far as submitting the article goes, there are a ton of things you will need to know in order to maximize the amount of successful submissions you have on each one. Diane covers them all. You’ll learn about optimizing your title, how long your article should be, how unique it should be, and how to use your keywords/anchor text. Additionally, she has a ton of information on optimizing your resource box. Overall, this is the kind of stuff you NEED to get right, and she has already done all the work for us in terms of figuring out exactly what works best.

Last but not least, there is a ton of information on using the scheduler. Now I tried using the BMD scheduler a while back on my own, and could not for the life of me figureit out. I haven’t tried this portion of the tutorial in her guide yet, but I am definitely planning to do so. In fact, I am going to be getting a dedicated machine soon that I plan to put Article Demon on so I can schedule this stuff to run automatically. I know this Article Demon help will be extremely valuable to me when I am ready to get started with that.

So in conclusion, I sincerely recommend Article Coach, and Bookmarking Coach as well. Believe me, I wouldn’t have spent the time to write a review this long if it wasn’t something I truly use myself and fully recommend. Edwinsoft has very powerful products – IF you know how to use them. If you are thinking about buying either BMD or Article Demon, I recommend you visit Diane’s site – http://bookmarkingcoach.com/. There, she has links that will get you $50 off of BMD and a staggering $70 off of Article Demon. So definitely stop there first and cash in on those discounts – then you can use the money you saved to pick up the coaching manuals.

Also – it is important to mention that these manuals are constantly updated. As versions of BMD/AD are updated with new/different features, and as directories change things on their end to try to weed out spam, Diane is also constantly testing and updating settings to make sure we’re all using the best configuration possible to achieve the maximum number of successful submissions. As soon as the manual is updated, I get a new copy emailed to me. It doesn’t get any easier than that.

One more thing I will add – she also has a weekly proxy service for around $7. I have been a subscriber as long as I have owned BMD. I get 50 tested proxies emailed to me every Sunday ready to go right into BMD and AD. Even though I have Scrapebox, and could probably harvest my own proxies, I like the amount of time I can save by using this service, and I know the proxies are GREEN and ready to go.

So be sure to check out Article-Coach.com if you have or are thinking about getting Article Demon.

So I had a chance to try out the Headway theme for WordPress. It’s actually something I’ve wanted to do for quite a while now. I have a VA who used it a lot in a previous job, so I decided to get a copy, and I’m glad I did.

Basically Headway is a completely customizable WordPress theme. It can be very basic, or extremely detailed, depending on how you want to customize it. My VA has been able to do some really cool designs with it, and that is only at a modest skill level.

One of the coolest things about Headway is the visual editor. Here’s a real basic idea of some of the features ( I couldn’t do a screenshot of my own admin interface because of the way the visual editor works):

Anyway, so you can see that with the visual editor you can basically control all aspects of the design, without having to do any coding at all. And for people like me who like to get dirty with the code, you can also turn the visual editor off.

So I decided to try this theme out on a site of mine that badly needed a makeover. I literally downloaded it, installed it, activated it and played around with the settings for about 5 minutes, and the result was a custom wordpress theme that looked about 100 times better than the previous theme I had been using.

Best part of all, I didn’t have to waste any time reading any instructions or anything. The interface is actually really intuitive, so if you’re like me and you’ve worked with a million different WordPress themes already, you will have no problem picking this up. For example, I always like to remove the post meta information from my niche sites – that would be the date, author, etc. Usually right below the post title. In most cases I actually have to go into the code and mess around with a couple different files in order to completely remove the post meta info – which is very important, by the way. With Headway, I was able to remove it with 2 simple clicks. Not only that, I didn’t even have to read any instructions or anything to figure out where to go to do so. I basically just went to the place in the configuration where I thought the setting would be, and sure enough it was right there.

So overall I’m really loving this theme so far. I just used it for a really simple site to test it out, but I have some plans to do bigger and better things with it, and my VA has been able to produce some really cool stuff already. I would say that this is definitely a great option for a beginner who doesn’t want to even think about code, as the visual editor is one of the best custom visual editors I’ve seen for a WordPress theme, and it’s super easy to get up and running. If you’re more advanced or looking for 1 theme that would be flexible enough to use for multiple sites, then this is also a great option. I can tell there is clearly going to be a learning curve if you want to do some of the crazy cool stuff that’s possible with this theme, but just like anything else, it will be worth the effort you put in to it. You can take a look at the Headway site to see some really cool examples of live sites done with Headway that you would never even think were wordpress sites.

So overall Headway gets my full recommendation – if you’re on the fence, hopefully this will put you over!

Check out Headway at headwaythemes.com

So I recently got turned on to a new service – Flip Filter. At first I thought it would be similar to Freshdrop, which I already use, but actually it serves a much different purpose. Basically, Flip Filter is designed more for the everyday internet marketer – maybe not so much for domaneering, but for people who occasionally like to buy websites and domains.

So the first thing I really like about it is the fact that it aggregates WEBSITES for sale across the web – not just domains. So you’ll see listings from all the major sites – Flippa, DigitalPoint, etc, in one place. That definitely saves me time, and also shows me stuff from places I wouldn’t normally look. I actually don’t care much for Flippa anyway, so I much prefer browsing their listings via Flip Filter.

Another nice thing they have is a good assortment of the most popular filters. So for example if you only want to look for AdSense sites, or E-Commerce sites, there’s a button for that right off of the main menu. That makes it easy for me to pop in real quick every couple of days just to glance at what’s new.

Here’s a basic idea of how the e-commerce site filter results look:

Nice, clean, easy to browse through quickly and check for winners – perfect for me.

So overall I’m really liking this tool a lot. As a matter of fact, on one of my first times using the tool, I actually stumbled across and existing site for sale that I really liked. Now I found that the site itself was way overpriced, but the niche that this site was in was actually brilliant. So I’m actually now going to be working on developing the idea here on my end into what will ultimately (hopefully) turn out to be a full scale ecommerce store.

My point is, taking the time to browse websites for sale is great even if you aren’t actually planning on buying a site. It can be a really good place to get ideas, and see real life examples of functional sites that are making money – this is great for beginners and advanced users, and something I have personally done with a lot of success for many years now.

Overall this tool is great. It’s affordable for the everyday internet marketer at just $9/month or $79/year – and they even have a free version that isn’t too bad if you just want to test the waters. You won’t be able to dig in too deep, but like me, you will be able to at least get a good feel for how it works, so I highly encourage everyone to head over to www.flipfilter.com and give the free tool a test drive!

Well, times have changed. I’ve had an opportunity to test out the enterprise version and I have to say that I really am incredibly happy with how it has been going so far. Particularly Rank Tracker.

When I was originally considering purchasing this software, it was primarily because I heard from many reputable sources that Rank Tracker is the most accurate tool out there in terms of tracking keyword ranking. Not only that, but it is one of the only ones I found that could really work well for tracking a large amount of projects at the same time and fit my personal situation almost perfectly.

So luckily, despite the fact that I originally decided not to buy the software, I got a second crack at it, and I’m really glad I did, because so far it has been working excellent.

Features:

Accurate Results – so far, this tool seems to produce the most accurate possible results I’ve been able to find anywhere. I even prefer it to scroogle. Not only is it accurate with Google, but also seems to work great for Bing and Yahoo.

Supports a WIDE range of search engines – This doesn’t just track Google results. It doesn’t just track Yahoo and Bing results. It tracks results from virtually any search engine you could want, including the various Google’s from different countries. This is an EXTREMELY useful feature.

Proxy Support – This is great because I already have fresh proxies every week that I use for other things, so I can easily just plug them into the tool.

Detailed Reports – This is such a great feature. In the past, I had to create my own reports by hand every month for my SEO clients. No more. Now, I can easily generate detailed ranking reports in about 2 seconds. Not only that, but they include about 50 x more data than what I was previously providing to my clients, so they get a lot bigger benefit too, and it actually SAVES me time. Pretty amazing.

Automation – By far my favorite feature of rank tracker. I can schedule rank tracker to check ranks for all my desired keywords in all of my projects nightly, or at whatever interval I need. Then I can also automate the reporting as well. So for example for some of my own personal projects, I have a report automatically emailed to me every Friday. For my SEO clients, I will get the report once monthly. This saves me an incredible amount of time and is worth the price alone.

Drawbacks:

- The interface is a little bit ghetto. It’s not bad overall, but it does look a little dated. That being said, I would rather have something that WORKS over something that just looks good.

- I tried for over an hour to figure out how to automatically send a report to multiple email addresses and couldn’t find a solution.

That’s pretty much it, and these are both really minor drawbacks in the grand scheme of things. Overall, I will use this software heavily for both my SEO clients and my own personal projects. I can say without a doubt that it is well worth the investment. Believe me – I’ve looked for an alternative and could not find one that even comes close to stacking up against rank tracker. If you’ve been on the fence about getting this product – get it.

Hey guys, thought I would drop a quick review on you for a new plugin I’ve been testing out over the past couple of weeks. I have a client in need of a new website and they offer 2 types of different classes on an event calendar. They want the calendars for each type of class to be separate. They also want people to be able to register online.

Now last year, if I would have had a client come to me with these specs for a project, I would have put them into a Joomla site. Now… I can finally say that I think this WordPress event management plugin may have put the last nail in the coffin for Joomla. This software plugs right into WordPress. It takes about 2 seconds to set up, and you can install additional plugins for calendars, recurring events and a few other things. I really didn’t have to spend a lot of time reading instructions or in the support forum because it was extremely straightforward.

This makes me really happy becuase I pretty much hate using Joomla as a platform for websites. As more and more great WordPress plugins keep coming out, there is less and less reason to use Joomla for anything, and as someone who is primarily a WordPress developer, that is great news for me.

I have been using the paid verison of this plugin ($59), as well as the recurring events manager ($39). Overall it is DEFINITELY money well spent. They also have a free version available which is great if you want to take it for a test drive.

The biggest downside to the plugin, in my opinion, is that the recurring events manager isn’t actually built into the main plugin itself. I am only really saying that because this really is a real review and I wanted to have some pros and cons – but that is pretty much the only con I could come up with, and frankly, now that I have purchased the recurring events manager, it really doesn’t make any difference to me anymore.

The last big PRO I can think of is that it seems really well supported. I’ve spoken directly to the developer, and he was very helpful in answering a few questions that I had. A new update even came up the day after I purchased it.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the software, and anyone who is going to need to have an event calendar/registration feature on their website or a client website should absolutely keep this plugin in mind.

This post goes hand-in-hand with my previous post about my large authority site project using a WordPress silo to structure the site. I stumbled on the Category Content plugin while looking for a solution for sub navigation in setting up my silos, and this does exactly what I need.

Basically here’s the deal… For setting my site up with a Silo structure, I want to keep the intrasite linking structure tight between pages in the same silo. For example if I have articles about dog collars and articles about dog medicine, I want all the dog collars articles to be linking to each other and dog medicine articles linking to each other. I DONT want to have dog collar articles linking to dog medicine articles and vice versa, and I DEFINITELY don’t want to have dog collar articles linking out to Cat articles, which would be a completely different group altogether.

So basically this plugin is the perfect solution. I put it in my main sidebar, then on any POSTS it will provide a list of other POSTS within the same category. This is the absolute perfect way to add intra category navigation. It is all automatic, and perfectly accurate as long as you only assign 1 category per post.

The plugin takes about 2 seconds to install and set up. Even if you aren’t using the silo concept at all, it still would most likely be valuable to use this plugin. In fact, I will probably be adding this to some of my other sites, maybe even try it on this site – although I have a lot of my posts assigned to multiple categories so I may have to fix those first.

Another great thing about the plugin is that if there are no results to show at all, it just doesn’t display anything at all. This works well for my PAGES which are the anchors for each silo when combined with the page-post-associator (I will cover it in a different article).

Probably the best thing I like about this plugin – Originally, it was showing posts from parent categories and sub categories, however I actually contacted the developer and he generously added the option to only include posts from other sub categories – this was all in a matter of hours. You can’t ask for better support than that for a free plugin.

That brings me to the last thing I love about this plugin, it’s FREE.

So what are you waiting for?? Give this plugin a try. CLICK HERE to check out the plugin home page. Or download it from your wordpress admin by searching the plugin repository for Category Content.

Well, I must say it’s nice to finally be able to write a postive review of a product/service. I first heard about deep linker pro maybe 3 months ago or more. I actually had it on my list of things to do literally for at least 2 months, then I bought it a couple weeks ago and it took me up until yesterday to actually start using it. Anyway, I’m really liking it so far.

Basically Deep Linker Pro is a tool that will do automatic directory submissions for you, and also allows you to do automatic submissions to deep link directories as well. A deep link directory is one that will let you link to inner pages of your site. This is beneficial for obvious reasons.

Personally, I really don’t think directory submissions are going to make or break your SEO campaign for a given site, but I have been using them on a great deal of my own sites for probably at least 5 years now, and I still keep using them. One of the reasons I think it helps is just simply to diversify your link profile. In my opinion, I think it probably looks good to the search engines to drip in a ton of these directory links over the course of 6 months or so, and obviously it never hurts to up your overall incoming link count. So anyway, the specific benefit of directory links is debatable, but I like them and I use them and I personally think it helps to be as diverse as possible, if nothing else.

So getting to the reasons why I like it:

DLP is incredibly easy to use.

There is literally 1 screen you need to enter data in about your project, 8 total fields. This means for someone like me who literally has hundreds of sites to use, it won’t take me all day to get them added into the system. Basically all you do is fill in your title, description, keywords, URL, Reciprocal Link URL and choose a category, then start the submissions. It’s as easy as that.

It’s Fast

In addition to being quick to set up, the actuall submission process is pretty fast too – it takes me a couple hours to submit one project to about 400 directories automatically.

Manual Submission and Deep Linking Available

The deep linking is a nice touch, as you can submit multiple pages of your sites to deep link directories to get a lot more links and help keep your interior pages indexed. They also have about 200 – 300 directories that require captcha that you can manually submit to, and it doesn’t take very long to do.

Free Lifetime Updates

The good news is this tool is pretty early on in it’s lifespan and I think it’s going to be getting a lot better. With just a one-time fee, you get free lifetime updates, which I really like because I think there is a ton of potential here, and I hear that version 2 is supposed to be coming out very soon with a lot of new updates.

The Price is Right

DLP only costs $67. As far as I’m concerned it is an amazing price if you actually consider how many links you will gain from having this tool around. Now again, these aren’t the greatest links in the world, but a quick 400 links drip fed into every website you ever own ain’t too shabby for a one-time fee of $67. To put it into perspective, I used to actually pay an Indian company to do my directory submissions manually, and I believe I paid somewhere between $50 – $100 for around 1000 links – and I liked this service a lot and used it many times.

That’s basically the pro’s – I will say that it’s not perfect and there are definitely some things that could be improved:

Limited Amount of Directories

From what I understand there is a very small number of deep link directories supported right now, and the number of automatic directories is around 400. Overall, I think there is a lot of room for improvement here, and I already know that this is going to be a big part of version 2. I’m still happy with the current number, but the potential for more directories is huge and obviously increases the value of the tool a lot.

No Decaptcher Support

I was really hoping this would have decaptcher support for the additional 200 or so directories that require captcha, as it would be a no-brainer as far as I’m concerned. I actually emailed their support about this exact thing over a month ago and never heard anything back. I’m really hoping that they figure out some way to get this integrated into the mix.

Proxy Support, Multiple Submissions

I’m not entirely sure if supporting proxies is even necessary for something like this, but I already use proxies for BMD, so I would easily be able to plug them in here as well if it were supported. Also, I think this might tie in to multiple submissions – I would love to be able to run submissions for say 5 different URLs at one time. Again, I don’t know about this logistically, but it could be nice.

Reporting

Sadly the reporting doesn’t seem great at all. Again, this is something where I don’t know if it would even be possible to do much in this area, but it would be so great if I could get a report of the directories that I submit to – and even better if it could track submissions, and most of all give me a report of the actual URL where my link is whenever applicable. Again I don’t know if this would be possible, but it would be extremely powerful.

Automatic Email Activation

There is a percentage of the sites that need to have your submission activated via an email confirmation link. It really hasn’t been a big deal for me to click the links, but it would be a big timesaver. This is a feature they have in BMD and it is really nice, although not really necessary in this case.

Conclusion

So yeah, overall, I think if you are doing SEO on any level this tool is really a no brainer. It’s extremely powerful and the price can’t be beat. I really hope Josh keeps working on this tool because I really like it a lot so far and I think there’s a ton of potential for improvement. I haven’t been using it for very long, so I can’t really speak to the long term results from this, but the way I see it, it’s just another nice tool to have in the arsenal and it doesn’t take a long time to learn like BMD does.

So about 6-8 months ago, I got an unsolicited email for a new web based tool that could be used to check rankings on Google, Yahoo and Bing. I generally don’t respond well to unsolicited emails, however this one captured my interest, so I decided to take a look. The website is www.kpmrs.com. Basically it’s pretty simple – you enter the keyword, and your URL and it spits out your rankings in Google, Yahoo and Bing. Easy as that. Amazingly, I’ve been using this tool almost daily since the first time I tried it. It’s quick, simple and pretty accurate.

The Catch

The main problem with this tool is it comes with a catch – there is also a paid version. Whenever there’s a free tool that also has a paid version, the benefits of the free version are going to be somewhat limited. The main thing I don’t like about the paid version, is (last time I checked) they charge on a per site, and per keyword basis. This means if you’re like me, and track a large amount of sites, it’s not going to be cost effective.

Also – if you don’t sign up, they limit you to 10 searches per day. Luckily, you can sign up for a free account, like I did, and get unlimited searches as long as you log in first. Not only that, but with a free account you can also automatically track 5 sites with up to 5 keywords each. The cool thing about this feature, is you can opt to be emailed whenever your rankings for tracked keywords change.

Overall, I really love the service, but I do NOT recommend the paid service. Not only that, but a month or two after I received the first unsolicited email and began using the service, I received the same email again. I decided to email the tool designers and let them know I loved the tool, but the fees for the paid version didn’t work for me. They asked me to review their tool on my site, we went back and forth with emails, and ultimately they did offer me a discount on the paid service, but it was still nothing close to what I would be willing to pay. I believe SEO Elite has similar features, so I’m not willing to spend a ton on the service. Anyway, I was really fishing for them to let me try the paid version in exchange for a review on my site, however they never offered it, so that was the end of it.

I wasn’t ever going to review this at all, since they didn’t offer to let me try the paid service, and I certainly can’t recommend it based on the price structure, but I decided to review it after all because I use the free version SO much and quite like it.

Overall, I recommend everyone give the free one a shot if they don’t already have another tool they’re using for this.

Ok, just a quick hit today. I’m going to try to start showcasing some of the free stuff I use. A lot of it will be free WordPress plugins, free WordPress themes, and other tools and sites that I really use myself.

Today, I’m going to talk a little bit about a plugin I’ve been using for about 6 months or so now called Link Juice Keeper. Basically this plugin will automatically 301 redirect any non-existant pages on your site to your home page. It’s super simple to set up, and literally starts working once you activate it.

So why is this useful? Well there are actually a couple reasons. Probably the main thing I like it for is using it with expired domains. I generally only try to pick expired domains that have a diverse link profile – at least a handful of real contextual links. Most of the time, in this case, the links pointing back to the expired domain point to a variety of different pages within the site. That means, if you do noting, and put up a brand new site, you will have a ton of nice links pointing to a 404 page… What a waste. Now, many people will use the wayback machine or cached pages in google and recreate the old pages on the site. In some cases this is worth the time, and in other cases, it isn’t. Personally, I’ve found that this works great, and is the fastest way possible to avoid having a ton of links pointing to 404 pages.

Also, another good use for this tool, would be if you were converting an existing site to WordPress. Generally, if you’ve got any kind of non-Wordpress site, it’s going to be hard to keep the exact same URL structure for every page in the site. This is a quick way to avoid a ton of 404′s from search results and keep your traffic level stable as you transition to a new site. Now this probably isn’t as useful for this application, but it would be a lot better than manually setting up 301 redirects for a large amount of pages.

So overall, this is a plugin I use quite a bit. You can add it to your WordPress via the admin if you search for Link Juice Keeper, or click on the link above to visit the plugin page and download it.

I guess it’s a little premature to actually say results, since I haven’t built a site using the keywords I’ve found with MNF yet, but I wanted to drop a quick update on you. As I mentioned on Monday, I decided to give Micro Niche Finder a shot. I bought it at the end of the day on Monday, and before I went to bed, I already had a list of about 35 new keywords I really like – and that’s only from maybe 30 – 60 minutes of using the tool – not only that, but I literally installed the program and started cranking out searches, I didn’t need to read the manual or watch the videos or anything (although I did do that the following day to fill in a couple blanks).

Initial Reaction

Well, I can honestly say I’m blown away so far. In fact, if the results reflect my initial reaction, I will be kicking myself for having not picked this up sooner. For one thing, I ran a good handful of niches I used in my 100 EPN site challenge, and they all (the ones I tested) had the maximum SOC rating (strength of competiton), which explains exactly why they were all sandboxed. On the other hand the keywords from my micro niche case study all fared much better.

One of the best things I liked about this software is the brainstorm feature – just click the brainstorm button and MNF will bring up a page of 25 keyword ideas. I’ve found that on average, I find a good keyword every 1 and a half searches or so. So i can just sit there for an hour brainstorming and moving keywords with potential to a project bucket, then go through for deeper analysis, all without really having to do too much thinking.

So, so far I’m really encouraged by the results. I narrowed my first project down to 10 keywords that I think look really good – 5 exact .com keyword names and 5 .net, all with very very low SOC – I believe under 30, which is pretty low. I’ve got articles in production for each site, due back with plenty of time to spare before the end of the month. I’m also trying 300 word articles this time, as opposed to 500 word articles, as I want to see if there is any big difference – If I can use 300 word articles and get the same effect as 500 word articles, I can get about 40% more articles, and that either means I can make more sites, or have more backlinks right away. So I plan to bust these out all next week, and see what happens. With the amount of time I can save on keyword research with this tool, I can probably put up at least a good 10 – 20 of these micro niche snipers each month with no probs. The main thing is, I want to see how many of the 10 don’t get sandboxed, meaning I can rank them and get earnings quickly.

Micro Niche Sniper Case Study

Brief update on this – I still haven’t seen a lot of movement on anything yet – the site I did social bookmarking on and directory submissions on is still hovering around the 100 mark, the site I did 10 GPS submissions on is not on the radar at all – I think this is the most competitive niche of the 4, and the site I added blogroll links on is in the top 100, but has yet to crack the top 50. I’m still pretty hopeful for that one, though. The bright spot, is the one site that has been in the top 10 pretty much since I launched it has been holding strong – not only that, but I added AdSense to it on Monday, and it has been averaging about 0.75/day this week with a CTR around 30%, not too shabby. Not only that, but one of the additional 2 micro niche snipers I launched last week has also earned me about 1.00 over the last two days. For my latest two micro niche snipers, both are in pretty specific niches in the automotive area. They are both specific keywords from a more broad root keyword that I already have a successful site covering. The sad thing, is the successful site was banned by G a while back, so I can’t send any links from it to my new sites. The good thing is, even though it was banned, I get great yahoo and bing traffic and it is one of the rare sites that I do well with both AdSense and EPN on – so my idea here was to take advantage of these keywords I know convert well and are pretty well untouched by other IM’ers, and build the sites correctly so they don’t get penalized by Google. I sent 4 GPS links to one of the micro niches, and I gave the other one a quality contextual link from another automotive site I have that has some decent juice. So far the site that I did GPS submissions on is the one that’s earning, although both appear to not really be ranking for their main keywords yet. It’s a little early to tell. If I can hit on 2 out of my first 6 sites, I will be pretty stoked about that. A 33% success rate will make me quite a bit of money and the other 66% of these sites will eventually get ranked most likely.

2nd MNF Test

So while I’ve got this going on, I also have another idea I’m going to try. I mentioned above that I have an automitive site with some decent backlinks/PR. It’s a preowned domain I bought a while back to use for SEO on some serious money sites, and I’ve mostly just been adding articles for contextual backlinks. Now, my plan is to use MNF to try to uncover 50-100 really low competition automotive related keywords, and add 1 article to this site for each keyword. Then, backlink the articles individually as needed. As opposed to building 100 new automotive micro snipers, I’m going to just treat each page within one site as it’s own separate entity and see what happens. I think by doing this, I will be able to get this automotive site earning something daily, and I’ll also increase its value as a tool for linking to my other sites. Probably the most important thing about this, is it is a really easy way to target keywords containing trademarks. These keywords are in many cases easier to rank for, but they aren’t as good for niche sites because you have to use the trademark in your domain and risk getting it yanked, or not use it and lose the exact domain bonus. It shouldn’t be a problem going after some of these terms using a generic automotive domain with exact page names, and I won’t really be risking anything. If this works, I know several niches I can exploit with the same methods very quickly, so it should be interesting to see the results.

Overall, while I’ve basically written a really positive MNF review, I’m still holding back from giving it my full recommendation. I love what I’ve seen so far, but the results that will do the talking will come in the form of Adsense clicks. I should know for sure within the next 4 weeks whether this thing is the real deal, and I’ll give it my full recommendation at that point.
