I've recently become the Web Hamster for a site that I did originally in WPRemix in 2009. I left that web admin job just from the frustration trying to deal with Randy.

Now I'm faced with the task of having to migrate that full-blown site out of WPRemix to another theme because the future of WPRemix is dim. (In an email, the original author advised me to move)

Any pointer to any resources on migration would be welcome.
What happens to pages built in WPRemiz?
Do they exist but untethered without footers, sidebars, etc?

I actually liked the Remix theme, but would NEVER recommend it for two main reasons:

1) Randy, the guy who owns it now or at least runs the support forum, is a 10 on the douche meter. Just read some of his support responses. WTF? Who talks to customers like that?

2) Randy, is a total ^%!@#$% sack.

There are other reasons why I stopped using it, mainly that a lot of the customizations are actually done in the .php files and an upgrade to the next version will wipe them out.

Not to mention Randy is a @$^% douche.

Unfortunately I bought it last year, and just started wrestling with it again. Wish I had known then what I know now. Headway is next for me.

Yeah, I got a refund from Clickbank on this one. I'd never asked for a refund before. At least I learned how painless it is.

Boy oh boy oh boy oh boy I wish I had found this review after buying WP-Remix!!!! First of all, I would have known that the hype on their website was exactly that--hype. I am moderately capable of building a site, can poke around CSS, but this theme makes random changes to things and is a bear to use.

Furthermore, had I any idea that the company was represented by (owned by?) someone as deeply condescending and insulting as Randy, I would never have sent him my money.

Thanks for what seems to be the only honest REVIEW of WP Remix on the internet. All the rest are just affiliate links disguised as reviews.

And that's the rub. If I could get WP Remix working right an absolute minimum of customization would be necessary. Not much more than plugging our logo in.

But I have the graphic sense of, well, I don't want to go there.

The corporate theme is actually pretty nice if you do a little customization on it. I have used it for quite a few projects.

You'll have to let us know how it ends up for you.

After my Remix meltdown experience, I now use Flexsqueeze for just about everything.

V1.4 really rocks.
